Network Upgrade 28/09/2003

Scheduled maintenance will take place on Sunday 28th September 2003.

We will be upgrading our network to further improve the service provided to our customers. You may have noticed that we have been experiencing a few intermittent network problems where connections have become slow for a short period of time. These connection problems have been due to our upstream provider. To resolve this issue we have decided to move to a new upstream provider.

Due to the upgrade, there will be about 1 hour's downtime which will occur sometime after 1pm on Sunday 28th September 2003. Our network IP addresses will also be changing. Our new network provider is unable to use our old IP addresses.

If you are referencing to our IP address or host your own DNS please be advised of the following changes to IP address:

Server1.freshwebhosts.com - 62.149.37.77
Changing to: 80.253.99.26

Ns.freshwebhosts.com - 62.149.37.47
Changing to: 80.253.99.46

Ns2.freshwebhosts.com - 62.149.37.225
Changing to: 80.253.99.101

Our new IP address range is fully functional. You are therefore advised to make any changes as soon as possible. All change to IP referencing should be completed Sunday 28th September 2003.

If your hosting account and domain name are with Freshwebhosts.com you will not need to make any changes. The above only relates to customers who host their own DNS or have referenced to our IP address when creating a remote connection to the server.
